Nike Connect


During my internship in Rhode Island, I've worked on creating an UIUX Design for Nike NFC mobile appication. Few years ago, Nike launched the Nike NBA Connected Jerseys, which allow customers to leverage NFC technology to tap their smartphone to the Nike products to unlock exclusive content. NikeConnect provides personal, next-level access to athletes, exclusive offers and the game on users' smartphone. NFC is the most seamless way to provide personalized mobile experiences.

How We Built It

 Search and Scan
Since the scanning the NFC chip is the most important feature of this app, I created a searching page for the chip and scanning it as first page part of design.

Our team was divided into two groups: front-end and back-end developers. Front-end developers started from wire-framing the game using Sketch and Zeplin, then we moved to coding the pages using HTML and Boostrap. Back-end developers worked on NodeJS, SocketIO, Giphy's API and Google Cloud Engine.




Personalized Information
After NFC chip is detected on Nike Product, NFC Connect reveals the product information along with a welcome message.



Exclusive Features
By unlocking exclusive content, users can now access to personal, next-level access to athletes, exclusive offers and the game.
